The International Book Club is a book club for NCTA members and non-members who want to join our NCTA community.

If you love to read translated books, either in English or in your native language, join us!

We’ll read and discuss fiction books that have been translated in English and other languages. We will read one book approximately every two months. We started in January. The planned schedule is this one:  January/February, March/April, May/June, July/August, September/October… We’ll meet once every two months (in person or on Zoom) to discuss the book!  Feel free to organize a meetup in your area!

You can choose to read the selected books in the original language or in any available translation. Discussions will focus on traditional book club themes as well as aspects of translation that arise.

We know that free time is precious and rare, so feel free to join us whenever you can! The more the merrier!!!
