Translations That People Want to Read: German or Russian into English
“Thanks a lot for your job! The best as usual!” — Anastasiya Piletskaya, Rosan Diamond
”…thank you also for the good translation, we will surely work with you again!” — Wolfram Nöldeke, Textra Fachübersetzungen
Naturally, you want your text to be clear and accurate. The style and mood should match your source text and your target market.
You don’t want a robot, nor a college student who’s earning a little money between classes.
You need an experienced professional, and one who really cares about software and computers—not someone who would rather be translating novels or art books.
You need a native speaker of English, because your text has to be natural, native English.
And most of all, you can’t have embarrassing, critical mistakes that will make your product seem sloppy or your company look ridiculous.
I’m an experienced professional translator, and a native speaker of Standard American English, educated in the United States. I’m also certified by the American Translators Association for translating German to English (certificate #513878). The ATA’s certification exams are among the most stringent and demanding of any in the world. I also have extensive experience translating for software companies and cloud service providers from Russian to English.
I’ve gained experience translating in the field of information technology—because this is what I love working on. I also use up-to-date software to keep my work efficient and my terminology consistent: Wordfast, OmegaT, Smartcat, and so on.
Let’s discuss whether your project is a good match for my skills. Contact me today. (Вы можете связаться на русском. Sie können mich auch auf Deutsch kontaktieren.)
